《怨鬼》（In the Dark）是台湾小生王柏杰首度跨足马来西亚影坛挑战恐怖类型，饰演一个随着未婚妻过世，逐渐陷入黑暗纠缠的痴情男子。导演杨俊汉2008年以《死了都要卖！》摘下威尼斯影展影评人周青年电影奖与金马影展奈派克奖，备受期待的他这次目标要拍出马来西亚第一部进军国际市场的恐怖电影。Joseph's world plunges into darkness when he defies a fortune-teller's prophecy and asks May to marry him. May dies and Joseph tries in vain to contact her in the afterlife, invoking instead the ghost of a comatose man who was with May the day she died as well as several other spirits that lurk constantly in the darkest recesses of our surroundings.
